Food is a central part of the sailing experience on Kathrina - at sea, the appetite is whetted, and a carefully prepared meal tastes especially good in the middle of the waves! In Kathrina's kitchen, delicious taste experiences inspired by Finnish nature are created. All dishes are prepared on site from fresh ingredients, and whenever possible we prefer domestic products. In this way, we ensure that each food portion is not only of high quality, but also full of authentic taste.
We offer a diverse selection of dining options, from breakfasts and afternoon coffees to lunches and three-course dinners. You can choose a ready-made menu designed for summer sailings, or plan a meal with our chef that fully meets your wishes. All special diets and allergies are carefully taken into account so that each of your guests can enjoy the food without worry. On Kathrina, dining is mainly carried out in buffet format, which fits well with the ship's facilities and offers a flexible service for larger groups. With special arrangements, however, we can also organize Ć la carte service, if the nature of the event requires it.
Orders and services: The minimum number of meals is for 25 people, and depending on the size of the event, 1ā3 waiters are responsible for serving. The hourly price for a waiter is ā¬40 + VAT and includes two preparation hours, which ensures that your event runs smoothly and guests can focus on enjoying the maritime atmosphere and delicious food. Kathrina's bar completes the sea experience: Our bar offers a wide selection of soft drinks, wines, beers, ciders and spirits, and we also offer aperitifs and cocktails for parties.
The experiential nature of the events can also be enriched with various drink programs, such as cocktail trainings and wine tastings, which offer guests new kinds of taste experiences in a maritime milieu. Drinks can be ordered in advance on the bill, either according to the agreed quantity or consumption, or keep the self-paid bar open throughout the event.
